For those interested in running Comet Assay IVTM
in a GLP & FDA compliant environment, Comet Assay IV
offers the ability to connect to an Oracle database for secure storage
of all measurement and audit data.
The system can easily be configured to run SQL
statements or PL/SQL procedures at the start and end of each
session of measurements, and before and after each cell scored.
This gives ultimate flexibility for
those looking to transfer data from the Comet Assay IV
database into a proprietary system, such as a Laboratory
Information Management System (LIMS).
An image of each cell scored can be saved to the database along
with the corresponding measurement data. These images can then be
loaded back into the program and rescored in order to reproduce
and review the measurement carried out by the original user.
Easily view, filter & export data with the Data Extractor
The optional new Comet Assay IV Data
Extractor utility gives authorised users the ability to browse
all the data within the database and includes facilities to group
or filter data on any combination of fields and field values.
Users can also retrieve measurement and audit
data and export it for use with our Spreadsheet Generator
macro and other data processing and reporting tools.
