The Sorcerer automatic colony counting system has powerful image analysis software including facilities for separating overlapping and clumped colonies as often encountered in mammalian cell lines.

A high resolution version of the system is also available for particularly demanding situations. The Sorcerer system can also be used for other applications in immunology including ELISPOT and chemotaxis assays.

The Sorcerer colony counter system is designed to conform to Good Laboratory Practice and is fully compliant with the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Final rule on electronic records and electronic signature.
