Perceptive Instruments - Serious about Quality

View our ISO9001:2000 certificateFollowing a December 2005 surveillance visit, Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (the UKAS accredited certification body for quality assurance), has again recognised that our Quality Management System continues to meet the international standard ISO 9001:2000 and TickIT. In 2004, the scope of our quality management system was increased to include Data Processing systems, reflecting the new direction the company is taking following products such as the Ames Study Manager.

The ISO 9001:2000 standard sets out the quality requirements for an organisation, whose business processes range all the way from design and development, to production, installation and servicing. The continued approval of Perceptive Instruments’ Quality Management System highlights our ongoing commitment to excellence in all of the above areas. All of our image analysis and data processing products are designed, developed, produced, installed and serviced in accordance with policy and procedures of our QMS as certified to ISO9001:2000 and TickIT (Issue 5).

Reflecting the quality that you provide...

Not only are we dedicated to our own Quality Management System, but we also recognise the importance that you place in the quality of your own research. As a result, we continue to design our products to comply with Good Laboratory Practice guidelines and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Final Rule on Electronic records and electronic signatures. We recognise the growing pressures placed upon the Genetic Toxicology market, to conduct research experiments according to regulatory guidelines, and as a result our product solutions mean that users can efficiently and easily conduct their research, safe in the knowledge that encoded audit trail files will automatically record all system activity, including settings, measurement data and edits.

A quality of service beyond purchase...

With over 70% of our sales made outside of the United Kingdom, Perceptive Instruments has a wealth of experience in exporting products throughout the world. As a result, the vast majority of pre-sales and post-sales support is conducted direct from the UK in order to maintain a personalised and informed service. Purchasing from Perceptive Instruments remains hassle free, with demonstrations offered either in person or via remote access.
