Perceptive Instruments Ltd., founded in 1990, develops, manufactures and supplies image analysis and data processing solutions for many areas of scientific research and industry. Our products are used primarily in the pharmaceutical & health care industries, as well as environmental monitoring, food and manufacturing industries. We have established an enviable reputation based upon our willingness and ability to completely satisfy our clients’ needs. We provide standard 'off the shelf' systems and customised solutions based on current or novel technologies. Examples of special solutions include systems for antibiotic testing, vaccine development and robot vision.

With over 60% of our sales made outside the United Kingdom, Perceptive Instruments has a wealth of experience in supplying and supporting our products throughout the world. We are committed to maintaining a centralised support system, ensuring a dedicated level of after-sales service, from a team of experts continually working in your best interests. As a result, the vast majority of pre-sales and post-sales support is conducted direct from the UK in order to maintain a personalised and informed service. Purchasing from Perceptive Instruments remains hassle free, with demonstrations offered either in person or via remote access.

A unique Quality Management System

Perceptive Instruments remains one of a handful of Image Analysis & Data Processing companies worldwide whose management processes have been officially registered to ISO 9001:2000. This standard set out the quality requirements for an organisation, whose business processes range all the way from design and development, to product, installation and servicing. Our ISO 9001:2000 approval also includes ISO 90003:2004 which provides guidelines for the software development process.
