Perceptive Instruments Name Change

Same Great Solutions & Services, Now Under the Instem Name

As you may be aware, Perceptive Instruments has been part of the Instem group for almost four years, following Instem’s acquisition of Perceptive Instruments in November 2013.

Following this very successful acquisition and subsequent integration, we are now planning to formally retire the Perceptive Instruments brand name and bring the Perceptive Instruments suite of leading Genetic Toxicology solutions under the Instem umbrella.

Although the name may be changing, there has been no change in management and we will continue to provide the same high-quality solutions and services – just fully positioned under the Instem banner. As a reminder, these market-leading solutions include:

·         Comet Assay IV – live video imaging system for fast, accurate and reproducible single-click slide comet scoring

·         Cyto Study Manager – integrating data acquisition, auditing, reporting & study management into a single system – includes modules for the comet assay, micronucleus test and chromosome aberrations

·         Sorcerer Colony Counter – instant, automatic plate counting for GLP laboratories

·         Ames Study Manager – integrated Ames plate counting, study management and reporting

The changes, which will begin to take effect in January 2018, will include the retirement of the Perceptive Instruments website and the transfer of all Genetic Toxicology web content to the Instem website.
